Tips on submitting bug reports
Your bug is much more likely to get fixed if you can help me find the problem, not just the symptoms. Here's how you can help:
- Exit your browser, and add this line to your prefs.js file:
user_pref("browser.dom.window.dump.enabled", true);
(It's harmless to leave this in your prefs.js once you've done.) - Start your browser from the command line, with the -console option,
as in:
bash$ mozilla -console
- Open the JavaScript Console in a new window (Tools menu | Web Development), or in the browser window
- Now recreate your problem. Make a note of any JavaScript errors, and of any suspicious-looking messages appearing in your command-line window.
